Challenge 🏆️
If you’ve been learning English for a while, you’re probably familiar with the term phrasal verbs. They’re those annoying little verbs with prepositions attached to them that completely change the meaning
For example, blow up (explode) and blow out (extinguish a candle) have very different meanings!
So, let’s look at a collection of phrasal verbs you’re likely to come across (= find - also a phrasal verb 😉) at work.
Test yourself with the quiz below. Can you get them all correct? Let me know how you get on (=make progress - that’s another one. OK…I’ll stop now.)
All right, that’s it for today’s edition. What did you think? Reply to this email and let me know 📧
“😍 Loved it”
“🙂 It was OK”
“😐️ There was nothing for me“
Ciao for now,
Dan
