What's your English level?
Migliora il tuo inglese oggi - Business English For Italian Professionals
Hi there,
Welcome back to another edition of The English Breakfast — the newsletter for Italian professionals who want to feel more confident and natural using English at work.
I hope you’ve had a great week! It’s been a full one for me, this is one of my busiest times of the year for courses, but if you’re thinking about improving your English skills, feel free to visit my website to see what I can offer you too.
Alright, let’s get started with something fun — a quick quiz!
What’s your English level?
Are you curious to know what your level of English is? We tend to measure English skills from A1 (beginner) to C2 (better than most native speakers 😄 ).
I’ve put a little 17-question quiz together so you can find out your level.
You’ll get the results automatically at the end of the quiz but it’ll also ask for your email address so I can give you some feedback on the writing and speaking parts too.

Forget studying! How to build a language learning mindset.
For some people, learning a language seems to come effortlessly. For others, not so much. I’m definitely in the second camp — but one simple shift has helped me overcome the challenges of language learning and finally reach a point with my Italian where I can confidently say: I’m fluent.
It all comes down to mindset.
Did you know these phrasal verbs with get?
You can never know too many phrasal verbs! Check out this week’s mini lesson and see if you can guess these 5 phrasal verbs with get.

Do you find it hard to understand native speakers?
If your answer is “yes,” you’re not the only one! Native speakers often don’t speak clearly. We mix words together, we cut sounds, and sometimes we even change them.
So first of all: it’s not your fault.
The good news is that there are some simple pronunciation rules that native speakers use. If you learn these rules, it will be much easier to understand films, series, and real conversations.
I’ve made a course called Understand Real English. In this course, you’ll discover all the key pronunciation rules you need.
I know I mentioned this last week too, but I still have a few spaces left for the discount - the first 100 people will get 40% discount with the code REALENGLISH, and a month of free conversation lessons in The English Fluency Club.
All right, that’s it for today’s edition. What did you think? Reply to this email and let me know 📧
Have a great week and see you next time.
Dan
