Migliora il tuo inglese oggi - Business English For Italian Professionals
Hi there,
Welcome back to The English Breakfast — the newsletter for Italian professionals who want to sound more confident and natural in English at work.
Greetings from Rome! It was my wife’s birthday a few days ago, so we decided to celebrate in style — by seeing how much pasta two people can eat in four days. (So far, we’re doing pretty well!)
But enough about carbonara and cacio e pepe — let’s talk about another kind of challenge: understanding questions in English.
This can be stressful, right? When someone asks you a question and you’re not sure what they said, your brain freezes because you have to reply somehow.
So today, we’ll look at four very common English questions and how native speakers really pronounce them. You might be surprised!
How do you think a native speaker would say these?
“What do you…?”
“What are you…?”
“Do you…?”
Watch this week’s lesson and see if you were right!

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably noticed that everyone’s talking about artificial intelligence (AI) and all the amazing tools that keep appearing.
It makes you wonder, doesn’t it? Where are we heading — and what will the world of work look like in the near future?
In this week’s episode of the Work In The Future podcast from the BBC, the hosts talk to Martin Ford, author of Rise of the Robots, a book about how technology could change the way we work.
Together, they explore a big question: Will AI take over our jobs?
What do you think?

Learn to Speak English More Fluently
Do you want to speak English more fluently and feel confident in conversation? The secret is simple: practice.
But if you don’t use English at work or don’t have English-speaking friends, it can be hard to find chances to speak regularly.
That’s why I’ve started The English Fluency Club - a friendly weekly group session led by me, where you’ll build confidence and learn to talk about any topic naturally.
Right now, I only have 3 spots available.
If you’d like to join us, you can enjoy two free sessions to see if it’s a good fit.
Just contact me here with your name, email, and the message “English Fluency Club”.
All right, that’s it for today’s edition. What did you think? Reply to this email and let me know 📧
😀 It was great!
🙂 It was OK.
❌ There was nothing useful for me.
Have a great week and see you next time.
Dan
