Something easy

Pronunciation 🗣️ - Level: Elementary

Guardiamo la pronuncia di due parole che sono spesso confuse.

Guarda il video sotto e metti la tua pronuncia alla prova 😉

Something intermediate

Vocabulary 🔤 - Level: Intermediate

Here’s a 1 minute quiz to give your English vocab skills a boost.

Can you guess the missing word in these three sentences? Go on, I bet you can 💪 let’s go…

Something difficult

General English  🇬🇧 - Level: Advanced

Would you like to have retired by the age of 30? Of course you would!

Unfortunately for me that train has already left the station (=I’ve missed that opportunity) by a few years, but a certain US finance strategy called the F.I.R.E movement is offering a fresh perspective on the retirement age and how to get there sooner.

Curious to know more? Watch this video from the BBC and consider the following questions:

  • What is the F.I.R.E movement?

  • What does it allow you to do?

  • Would you change your lifestyle to do this?

☝️ Pro tip: try to find at least three new words in this video. Make a note of them, and spend a couple of minutes when you’ve finished to check their meanings using an online dictionary.

All right, that’s it. Have a great week and I’ll see you next time.

Ciao for now,

Dan
