Alright, it’s time to switch back to English 🇬🇧

Here’s the trick: when you see -age at the end of a word, it often sounds like -idge 🔊

Think of these:
Percentage → /per-SEN-tidge/
Average → /AV-ridge/
Manage → /MAN-idge/

Easy, right? But watch out! Not all “-age” words follow this rule. Words like rage, massage, and camouflage. A lot of these words come from French and keep more of their French-style pronunciation (blame the French 🇫🇷 😄).

Now it’s your turn—can you think of any other English words that end in -age and sound like -idge?
